Trentham Cliffs

The 46 hectares that make up Trentham Estate’s vineyards sit on a winding riverbank at Trentham Cliffs. The ideal terroir of red loam over limestone soils combined with nurturing water from the Murray River allows the vines to flourish. The Murray Region has a Mediterranean climate that features long dry summers and mild winters. Most of the rainfall occurs between May and October, with average annual rainfall of about 250 mm. A wide range of grape varieties are grown.
The general Harvest time is late January to mid-March.
