The Grape
The best Shiraz grapes of the Region were sourced for this wine, displaying true varietal expression in the final wine.

The Vintage
Following a mild growing period the grapes matured in late February with good colour and flavour.  Immediately after harvest the grapes were
e-stemmed, crushed and pumped into tanks for fermentation.  Once fermentation was complete the skins were pressed and the wine transferred to French oak of varying age for maturation.  After 8 months maturation the wine was blended and bottled.

The Wine
This Shiraz displays rich, spicy plum aromas followed by a long and complex palate of dark plum fruit flavours.  Soft integrated tannins with a hint of French oak and added spice complete this wine.

Drink now with hearty casseroles, roast meats and full flavoured cheeses.
